Free School Meals

All children in Year R, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Free School Lunches. Parents do not need to apply for these.  However, please read below about Pupil Premium funding entitlement.

However, if you receive any of the benefits listed in the criteria in the link below, your child will be entitled to Free School Meals in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. 

You must apply for the Free School Meals and there is a link below for this. 

However, in addition to the Free School Meal the school will receive Pupil Premium funding -  £1,320 annually for every child who qualifies for Free School Meals. The school can use this funding to provide extra support for that child's learning.  The school will receive this for children from Year R on wards so it is worth applying for Free School Meals in Year R, Year 1 and Year 2 even though they will receive their lunch for free. This can make a significant difference to the child's progress.
