Whitchurch Church of England Primary

Together we make a difference

Safeguarding

Whitchurch C E Primary School is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our children, staff, governors and visitors, whilst promoting conditions which allow children and adults to feel confident about sharing any concerns which they have about their own safety or the well-being of others.

We aim to safeguard and promote the safe welfare of children by protecting them from maltreatment; preventing impairment of children’s health or development; ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes. Sometimes we need to share information and work in partnership with agencies to ensure a child’s safety.

There are Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies in place.  All staff, governors and visitors are aware of these policies and procedures. Parents and Carers are welcome to read the policies which are kept in the policy section of this website.
