What is the Sports Premium?

The government provides primary school sport funding to improve the quality of sport and PE.

Purpose of the funding

Schools must spend the sports funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but have the freedom to choose how they do this.

The aim of our expenditure in this area is to raise the profile of PE and increase the school’s participation at local competitions.
