What it means to be a Church of England Primary School
There has been a school in Whitchurch for over 150 years and we are rightly proud of its history. Church of England schools were set up for all the children of the parish and this is the same today. We are here for all faiths and none and our job is to ensure children flourish. Our ethos is based on the Christian Values of Love, Courage and Respect and we offer children an experience of faith through collective worship and links with All Hallows Church.
At Whitchurch C E Primary School we use our values of love, courage and respect to inform our day to day living in terms of how everyone behaves and develops.
Our mission is to:
To bring our community together to make a difference through love, courage and respect. In aiming to make difference we intend every child to be the best they can be.
Please read about our values in the school values section under this tab.
For information on Daily Collective Worship please see the school policy.
All Church of England and Methodist schools are inspected every five years. The inspection focuses on the impact of the schools’ Christian vision and how this enables all the pupils and staff to flourish.
Our last inspection was in March 2016 when the school was judged to be Outstanding. Please read the inspection report here.
